About the role

Antfarm DAO is a decentralized Web3 product organization building transparent, verifiable infrastructure for digital assets and technical contributors. Our ecosystem includes Antfarm Finance, an onchain portfolio and liquidity-management protocol, and Proof of Dev, a platform that helps developers demonstrate meaningful engineering work through technical evidence such as code contributions, smart-contract deployments, attestations, security work, and project history. Our team works across decentralized finance, blockchain integrations, indexing, data systems, developer reputation, security, and product design. We are looking for people who can turn complex requirements into secure, maintainable products and who are comfortable taking ownership in a remote, early-stage environment. Ensure the quality, reliability, and usability of Antfarm Finance and Proof of Dev across web applications, APIs, blockchain integrations, and data-processing systems. You will design and execute testing strategies, identify risks before release, automate critical product flows, and work closely with engineers to improve system stability. The role is suited to a detail-oriented QA engineer who understands modern web platforms and can validate complex user journeys involving wallets, smart contracts, asynchronous jobs, and distributed services.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, regression suites, and release-quality checklists
• Perform functional, integration, regression, exploratory, usability, and cross-browser testing
• Test complete product flows involving wallets, authentication, developer profiles, attestations, dashboards, and administrative tools
• Validate APIs, database operations, background jobs, blockchain events, and third-party service integrations
• Build and maintain automated tests for critical frontend, backend, and end-to-end workflows
• Reproduce, document, prioritize, and track defects with clear evidence and expected behavior
• Verify error handling, loading states, failed transactions, network interruptions, and other edge cases
• Collaborate with engineers and product teams to define acceptance criteria and improve testability
• Review releases, monitor production issues, and help prevent recurring defects

Required skills

• 5+ years of professional software quality assurance or test engineering experience
• Strong understanding of web application testing, API testing, and software development lifecycles
• Experience creating structured test plans, test cases, bug reports, and regression strategies
• Ability to test responsive interfaces across browsers, devices, and operating systems
• Experience testing REST APIs, authentication flows, databases, and asynchronous processes
• Strong debugging, analytical, and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and identify product, reliability, and usability risks

Preferred skills

• Experience with Playwright, Cypress, Vitest, Jest, Postman, or similar testing tools
• Familiarity with Next.js, React, TypeScript, Node.js, and modern web architecture
• Experience testing wallets, smart contracts, blockchain transactions, or Web3 authentication
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automated quality checks, and release validation
• Familiarity with performance testing, security testing, accessibility testing, or observability tools
• Experience working with early-stage SaaS, fintech, DeFi, or developer-platform products
