# Distribution rules: Prioritizing governance and ATF burns # Summary Redefine the DAO's positions profit distribution by adjusting the revenue splits for increased community incentives and introducing a burn mechanism. # Motivation Our recent discussions highlight two main concerns with the current distribution model: 1. The 70% allocation to the DAO treasury, while beneficial for accumulating future liquidity, seems excessive given the ample ATF already in its treasury. 2. The relatively low reward for AGT stakers potentially undermines our goal of a decentralized DAO with active participation. Also, by introducing a burn mechanism, we're effectively doubling the burn rate on the DAO's liquidity, aligning with the DAO's major role as the top LP in the Antfarm ecosystem. # Actions This proposal's action is straightforward: Update the PositionManager DAO’s distribution rules. We'll raise the executor’s share to 2% to encourage more activity by covering gas costs better. After taking out the executor’s share, 82% will be directed to the veAGT staking contract. The final 18% will go to the burner contract at 0x03DbE714e1bC57C8Bb31C2C6984467bcbd8ad985, so anyone can trigger the burn when they see fit.
