Platform Reliability Engineer

About the role

Antfarm DAO is a decentralized Web3 product organization building transparent, verifiable infrastructure for digital assets and technical contributors. Our ecosystem includes Antfarm Finance, an onchain portfolio and liquidity-management protocol, and Proof of Dev, a platform that helps developers demonstrate meaningful engineering work through technical evidence such as code contributions, smart-contract deployments, attestations, security work, and project history. Our team works across decentralized finance, blockchain integrations, indexing, data systems, developer reputation, security, and product design. We are looking for people who can turn complex requirements into secure, maintainable products and who are comfortable taking ownership in a remote, early-stage environment. Own the operational quality of Antfarm DAO's applications and services across infrastructure, security, testing, and release engineering. You will create the systems that help product teams ship safely: automated environments, CI/CD, monitoring, security controls, test strategy, incident response, and production readiness. This is a broad platform role for someone who treats reliability as a product capability.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, cloud environments, secrets management, and deployment automation
• Define production monitoring, logging, tracing, alerting, service-level indicators, and incident workflows
• Create automated test infrastructure for Next.js applications, APIs, smart contracts, and data pipelines
• Perform threat modeling, dependency review, access-control review, and security-hardening work
• Improve backup, disaster-recovery, rollback, vulnerability-management, and change-control processes
• Partner with engineers to diagnose failures, reduce recurring incidents, and strengthen architecture
• Document operational standards, release checklists, runbooks, and measurable quality gates

Required skills

• 4+ years of DevOps, SRE, platform, security, QA automation, or production engineering experience
• Experience operating web services, databases, background workers, and cloud infrastructure
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD, Linux, networking, containers, observability, and application security
• Experience creating automated integration and end-to-end testing strategies
• Calm incident judgment, strong documentation, and a systematic approach to risk reduction

Preferred skills

• Experience with Vercel, AWS, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, or Playwright
• Familiarity with smart-contract security, RPC infrastructure, or blockchain monitoring
• Security certifications, audit experience, or experience in regulated or financial systems
